Kevin Bruce Watson, 56 of Ft. Smith went to the Lord on Monday, September 11, 2017. He was born March 27, 1961 in Ft. Smith to Phyllis Jean Gray Watson and Billy Gene Watson. He was a graduate of Northside High School, a longtime employee of Georgia Pacific and of the Methodist Faith.
In 2005 he was forced to retired due to medical issues. He was a fighter! For twelve years he fought this illness. He had such a strong will for life. He loved everything about the outdoors; from boating, to camping, hunting, fishing, and four wheelin'; these were his passions. His life was well lived and he leaves behind a wealth of memories. Although we mourn his loss, he finally has peace and has gone back home to the Lord. He was preceded in death by his mother; Phyllis Gene Gray Watson.

Visitation will be 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM Sunday, September 17, 2017 at Fentress Mortuary Chapel.

Kevin is survived by his wife, Cynthia Ann of the home, his son Kristoffer Watson and two step-sons; Austin and Taylor Clark, his father Bill Watson of Alma, two brothers Don Watson of Vian, OK, Barry Watson and his wife Melissa of Ft. Smith, his sister; Marcy J. Ball and her husband Chris of Barling, as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

The family sends a special thank you to all the family and friends for showing us their love and support that gave us strength through all of this. I want to thank Mercy Hospice for the love and care they gave to my husband in the last few weeks of his life.

Honorary pallbearers will be Don Watson, Barry Watson, Jerald Watson, Kristoffer Watson, Taylor Clark, Tim Givens, and Randy Dyer.
